WE ARE BACK!! Firbank aquastars is heading up to Echuca again in December 2011. For all those people who wish to go please contact Brendan Phyland. The information for the meet is below:

Firbank Aquastars Open SC Nationals Last Hit Out

An opportunity for swimmers to race,qualify or re-­‐qualify for the Australian SC Championships. Saturday 11 June 2011 Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre – Indoor Facility

Entries close - Friday 3rd June 2011

$10.00 per event plus a $15.00 entry fee for parents and/or spectators.

Term 3 2009 Aggregate Nights

Once again we have 4 Aggregate nights booked for this term.  The dates are:

• Friday, August 7th
• Friday, August 14th
• Friday, August 21st
• Friday, August 28th

Aggregate nights are a fun race night where the kids focus on getting PBs - more PBs means more points that go towards the aggregate awards each term.  These nights are not about racing to win.  Swimmers from all age groups - 7 and up - and all skill levels are welcome to attend.

The nights are free for FAS Club members, and cost $4 for non-members.  Racing begins at 7:00pm (and finish between 8 & 8:30 depending on how many swimmers there are each night) with a warm-up at 6:30.  The kids have a great time and the aggregate nights are a great introduction to the race environment

FAS Trip to Queenscliff/Geelong Meet

Have you booked your cabin at Queenscliff??  Or entered the Swim meet at Geelong on August 2nd??  It's not too late.

There are already a number of families booked in to the weekend, just mention that you are with the Firbank Aquastars to ensure you booked in a cabin close to everyone else.  Our last weekend away was a blast - don't miss out!
