FAS Meet updatePosted Date: 2010-07-30I have finally managed to come up for air - it's been a huge few weeks, but what an amazing meet we ran last Saturday! The day went off without a hitch (well no major ones anyway!). It was fantastic to see the pool deck filled with FAS volunteers timekeeping in their FAS shirts. I would like to thank everyone that supported the meet and helped out on the day, we really couldn't have done it without you all! From catering to marshalling, selling programs to time keeping and let's not forget those working away down in the AOE room ensuring the results were correct and posted for all to view. The preliminary figures show that the meet raised around $6000 for the club - a figure that I am absolutely thrilled with. We are now in discussion on how to best use this money for the benefit of the club - we will keep you posted on this on. If you haven't already done so, check out the photos in the post below.
